Base Repair Planned Next Week on Garnet Mine Road in Bethel, Upper Chichester Townships

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that base repair operations will be performed next week on Garnet Mine Road in Bethel and Upper Chichester townships.

The work schedule and location are:

  • Wednesday, June 28, through Friday, June 30, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Garnet Mine Road will be closed between Larkin Road and Maher Boulevard. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Larkin Road, Bethel Road and Route 261 (Foulk Road).

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
