Hennessy is a staunch advocate for charter schools, serving on the National Litigation Council for the National Alliance of Public Charter Schools. She is also involved with the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools and has chaired its Legislative Affairs Committee. Adam Alaa Attia has been named to the Rising Stars list, a distinction given to the top up-and-coming attorneys who are either 40 years old or younger or have been practicing for ten years or less.
