Authorities Release Video of Group Assault on SEPTA Train

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia Police Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying the individuals seen in a released video.

Authorities stated that on December 12, 2022, at approximately 6:04 pm, the victim, a 20-year-old male, was entering the Septa platform at 1100 Market Street when an unknown black male took the complainant’s wallet and fled onto a train. The victim then chased the suspect onto the train and was subsequently assaulted by a large group of males.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them directly at 215-686-8477.
