Arrest Made in Connection to Hoff Street Murder: Suspect Apprehended

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police announced the arrest of a 26-year-old man in connection to the murder of Tina Arroyo.

Alexander Grady has been charged with murder, criminal conspiracy, VUFA-No license, VUFA on streets, (PIC) possessing an instrument of crime, and (REAP) recklessly endangering another person.

According to the criminal complaint, on July 24, 2023, Philadelphia 25th District Police Officers responded to a radio call for a report of gunshots on the 500 block E. Loudon St. Upon their arrival, they found the victim, Tina Arroyo a 32-year-old female from the 9500 block of Hoff St, unresponsive, seated in the driver’s seat of a 2007 Honda Civic. She was shot multiple times throughout the head and body and was pronounced at the scene by medics at 6:05 PM.

An investigation identified 26-year-old Alexander Grady, from the 100 block of Macdade Blvd, as the primary suspect. He was apprehended without incident on Thursday, July 27, 2023.
