EPHRATA, PA — The Ephrata Police Department announced it is seeking the public’s help with an ongoing investigation into a fatal accident that occurred on U.S. Route 222 (just north of Route 322) on Friday.
Authorities state that on March 24, 2023, at 9:20 AM, an 18-year-old male from Reading lost control of his sedan on the wet roadway and slid off the road, striking a tree. He was transported to Tower Health–Reading Hospital, but did not survive his injuries.
