HAVERTOWN, PA — Al Pastor, one of the region’s most popular modern Mexican cantinas, is expanding to Havertown- in the heart of The Main Line.

The brains behind Stove and Co. Restaurant Group- Justin Weathers and Joseph Monnich- will launch their second location in the former home of Town Tap at 13W Benedict Avenue. Just like their Exton establishment, this new one promises family-friendly vibes with a colorful, fun environment that celebrates bold flavors, good food, and dank margaritas.

The location will boast 100 indoor seats, and an additional 100 alfresco. The menu will focus on easy-to-eat food focused on shareables and handhelds. With up to 15 kinds of tacos, five kinds of birria tacos, burritos, enchiladas, street corn, soups, salads and other street food delights.

To complement your meals, expect margaritas in all shapes and sizes- classic, flavored, on the rock, frozen. Looking for more? Try their signature cocktails- we hear Ranch Water, Spiked Lemonade, Space Punch and other eclectic creations are worth a try. The beer program will feature 12 taps- a mixture of local and Mexican favorites, plus bottles, cans and seltzers.

Al Pastor Havertown is set to open in early summer- late June, or early July. Be ready for lunch, happy hour and dinner service seven days a week from 12:00pm Noon to 10:00pm to start.
