After 10 Years, Cold Case Investigation Continues in Lancaster County

LANCASTER, PA — The Lancaster City Bureau of Police released the following statement on the 2011 murder of Brandon Seals, Sr.:

“10 years ago… on 13 July 2011, Brandon Seals, Sr. was found murdered in the 200 block of Stevens Ave. Lancaster City Bureau of Police officers and detectives began an investigation into this crime that is still open and active to this day.

“The investigation has been lengthy and intensive and several investigative strategies were used to bring a resolution to the case. The investigation was initially assigned to Detective Michael Gerace, who has since promoted out of investigations and is currently a Sergeant assigned to Patrol Division.

“The case was turned over to Detective Adam Dommel, who has continued the work that Sergeant Gerace began these 10 years ago. We believe that there may be persons still part of our community that have information that could provide new leads into the tragic death of Mr. Seals.
