5 Suspects Arrested in Wilmington Robbery

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police announced the arrest of 18-year-old Keshaun Swanson, 20-year-old Sadir Black, a 14-year-old male juvenile, 18-year-old Julius Lawrence, 18-year-old Darnell Rollins, and 18-year-old David Osborne following a robbery investigation.

Authorities stated that on January 3 at approximately 8:09 p.m., police responded to the 600 block of East 4th Street for an alleged robbery that had just occurred.  The investigation was assigned to Detective Brendan Wham of the Criminal Investigations Division.  Through the course of his investigation, Detective Wham identified the following suspects – Keshaun Swanson, Sadir Black, a 14-year-old male juvenile, Julius Lawrence, Darnell Rollins, and David Osborne.

Warrants were secured for the suspects and they were all taken into custody without incident.

Swanson was charged with the following offenses:

  • Robbery (1st Degree)
  • Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
  • Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
  • Wearing a Disguise during the Commission of a Felony
  • Conspiracy (2nd Degree)

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $45,000 cash-only bail.

Black was charged with the following offenses:

  • Robbery (1st Degree)
  • Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
  • Wearing a Disguise during the Commission of a Felony
  • Conspiracy (2nd Degree)

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $107,000 cash-only bail.

The 14-year-old juvenile was charged with the following offenses:

  • Robbery (1st Degree)
  • Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
  • Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
  • Wearing a Disguise during the Commission of a Felony
  • Conspiracy (2nd Degree)

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the New Castle County Detention Center on $21,000 cash-only bail.

Lawrence was charged with the following offenses:

  • Robbery (1st Degree)
  • Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
  • Conspiracy (2nd Degree)

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $122,000 cash-only bail.

Rollins was charged with the following offenses:

  • Robbery (1st Degree)
  • Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
  • Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
  • Wearing a Disguise during the Commission of a Felony
  • Conspiracy (2nd Degree)

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $148,000 cash-only bail.

Osborne was charged with the following offenses:

  • Robbery (1st Degree)
  • Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
  • Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
  • Wearing a Disguise during the Commission of a Felony
  • Conspiracy (2nd Degree)

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $134,000 cash-only bail.
