46th Annual Hero Scholarship Flea Market Announced, Vendor Spaces Available

MARPLE TWP, PA — The Hero Scholarship Fund of Marple Township is sponsoring their 46th Annual Flea Market Sale, The Flea Market will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021. Organizers state that there will be no rain date this year.

The Flea Market will be held on the grounds of the Delaware County Community College, located at Route 252 and Media Line Road, in Marple Township. The Flea Market will open to vendors for set up at 6:00 a.m. All vendors will use the Media Line Road entrance. The public will be allowed into the Flea Market at 9:00 a.m. The Flea Market closes at 3:00 p.m. Vendors clean up and clear the College grounds by 4:00 p.m.

The Hero Scholarship Fund of Marple Township provides for the surviving spouse and children of Police Officers, Fire Fighters, or Ambulance Corps personnel killed or permanently disabled in the line of duty. The Annual Flea Market is the largest of its kind in the entire tri-state area. Organizers state that vendor participation will help a much-needed and worthwhile charitable cause. At the same time, a participating vendor can make money while having an enjoyable day.

Each vendor space costs $40.00 by advance registration. $20 of the $40 goes towards a donation to the Hero Scholarship Fund. If not sold out on the day of the Flea Market, each vendor space will cost $50.00. $30 of the $50 goes towards a donation to the Hero Scholarship Fund. A vendor space will be 3 parking stalls. That is a really big space. Don’t you agree? However, spaces will be limited to just 300.
