25-Year-Old Woman Fatally Shot in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police announced there is a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction in the homicide of a 25-year-old female victim.

Detectives with Philadelphia’s Homicide Unit say they are looking to identify the vehicle, depicted in released surveillance video excerpts, as part of an ongoing investigation into the homicide that occurred on Sunday, August 21st, 2022, at about 3:47 PM, in the 1000 block of W. Wingohocking Street.

The vehicle is described as a 2019-2022 Nissan Altima 2.5 S, white in color with dark tinted windows. It was occupied by at least a driver, and a driver-side rear passenger. The vehicle had distinct damage to the front right bumper area, and during the incident, it incurred significant damage to the trunk/rear bumper area.
