LANCASTER, PA — The Lancaster County Drug Task Force, with the assistance of the Manheim Township Police Department, arrested a man in possession of powder and crack cocaine, marijuana, a handgun, and US currency last Thursday.

Luis Rivera, 21 of the 1900 block of Crooked Oak Drive, was arrested after the Drug Task Force executed a search warrant following an investigation beginning in Feb.

The criminal complaint alleges that the task force seized 177.5 grams of powder cocaine, 25 grams of crack cocaine, 370.1 grams of marijuana, $281.00 in US currency, one Glock model 29 10mm handgun with a loaded magazine, and various narcotics paraphernalia.

Members of the task force made at least two controlled confidential informant or undercover drug purchases from Rivera between Feb. and April 2023 before executing the search warrant.

Rivera was arrested without incident and remanded to Lancaster County Prison on $100,000 cash bail.

Information, a criminal complaint, or an arrest is not a declaration of guilt. A suspect, arrestee, or defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
