$20,000 Reward Offered in 2021 Philadelphia Homicide

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Detectives with the Philadelphia Police Department Homicide Unit say that a $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in a May 2021 homicide case.

Philadelphia Police are looking to identify the individual, depicted in released surveillance video excerpts, as part of an ongoing investigation into the fatal shooting of a 38-year-old male, that occurred on Sunday, May 30th, 2021, at about 2:25 AM, in the 1000 block of W. Olney Avenue. The male was last observed fleeing on foot northbound on 10th Street from Olney Avenue after the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male, heavyset, full beard, who appears to be in his late twenties to early thirties.
