LITITZ, PA — The Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department announced that a 20-year-old Lititz area man remains in the Lancaster County Prison following his arrest on charges related to indecent exposure in connection with two incidents on Oak Street, Lititz, Lancaster County on Saturday evening.
Authorities state that patrol officers charged Micah James Moraga of Lititz, PA with indecent exposure after he was stopped by a patrol officer on foot patrol. Police say they had previously responded to two reports of a male, dressed in a dark-colored hoodie and shorts masturbating in the 400 and 500 block of Oak Street. Patrols checked the area and were unable to locate the suspect. After mobile patrols vacated the area, an officer parked nearby and went out on foot to continue their response to the investigation of this sex-related offense. Approximately one hour after the last reported act of masturbation, Moraga was stopped in the rear of a building in the 400 block of Oak Street, Moraga matched the description of the suspected sex offender.
Police say that Moraga was positively identified as the suspect and arrested, placed into custody, and transported to the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department for Live scan and CPIN booking. Moraga was transported to the Lancaster County Prison awaiting arraignment.
