17-Year-Old in Extremely Critical Condition After Hit-And-Run on Allegheny Ave

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police announced a request asking for the public’s help in an effort to locate and identify the dirt bike operator.

Authorities state that on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at approximately 10:30 PM, Unit#1 was doing wheelies on the highway while traveling eastbound on Allegheny Ave. when it came in contact with Unit#2, a pedestrian on a skateboard traveling westbound. The victim a 17-year-old male was transported by Medic 8 to Temple Hospital in extremely critical condition.
