PENNSYLVANIA — Acting Secretary of the Commonwealth Al Schmidt announced that the Spanish-language version of vote.pa.gov is now live. The Shapiro Administration is committed to ensuring that every eligible voter has the resources they need to make their voices heard, and today’s announcement continues to build on that commitment.
“This development represents an important milestone in the Shapiro Administration’s efforts to make registering to vote and the voting process accessible to all eligible voters,” Schmidt said. “Pennsylvanians whose preferred language is Spanish can now find all the information they need about elections and voting from an official source.”
Some pages and resources on https://www.vote.pa.gov/Pages/default.aspx have been available in Spanish and Chinese, but now Spanish-speaking voters can navigate the whole website in Spanish without having to switch back and forth from English. Schmidt said a Chinese-language version of https://www.vote.pa.gov/Pages/default.aspx will be available later this year.
To access the Spanish-language version of vote.pa.gov, voters can click the Recursos en Español tab on the icon bar on the homepage.
The website contains important deadlines for voters, voter registration information, a link to apply for a mail-in or absentee ballot, a polling place locator tool, contact information for all 67 county election offices, tips for first-time voters and overseas civilian and military voters, elections FAQs, and much more.
For more information on voting in Pennsylvania, voters can visit vote.pa.gov or call the Department of State’s year-round voter hotline, 1-877-VOTESPA (1-877-868-3772), which offers information and interpretation services in more than 200 languages.
