HARRISBURG, PA — The Pennsylvania Senate Republican Campaign Committee (PA SRCC) released the following statement on Thursday’s news:
“[Confirmation} that our economy is in a recession is further proof we can’t afford a Democrat majority in the Pennsylvania Senate,” PA SRCC Executive Director Cody Harbaugh stated.
“A Democrat majority that will double-down on Joe Biden’s agenda in our Commonwealth will wreak even more havoc on our state’s economy. Senate Republicans remain committed to fighting this far-left agenda and promoting pro-growth policies.”
“The PA SRCC is dedicated to electing Republicans across the Commonwealth to prevent Democrats from augmenting our economic woes,” PA SRCC Communications Director Michael Straw added. “
A vast majority of Pennsylvanians believed our country and state were on the wrong track even prior to the news of the recession. It is now even more evident that we must hold and expand Republican majority as possible in the State Senate that will provide a broad range of solutions to fix our broken economy.”
