Job Opportunities Continue To Be Available At Many Local Post Offices

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The United States Postal Service announced that it will continue to hold job fairs this month for city carrier assistant positions. Starting salaries are $18.92 an hour. Two fairs (Blue Bell Post Office and Tri-County Post Office) are also offering career positions with benefits beginning at $21.92 an hour.

“If you enjoy the outdoors and working locally, these fairs present a great opportunity for you to join our team and Deliver for America,” said Paul Smith, spokesman for the local district. Onsite assistance will be available for applicants who are interested at the following locations:

Be sure to bring 2 valid forms of I.D. to the Job Fair. Fingerprinting will be done on-site. To assist potential applicants, USPS stated that personnel will be onsite at the job fair to provide detailed information about the positions and to answer questions. Applications are accepted online only at www.usps.com/careers. Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to pass a background investigation.
