TREDYFFRIN, PA — Tredyffrin Township released the following statement, providing guidance on Halloween Trick-or-Treating during the COVID-19 pandemic:
“Tredyffrin Township does not establish dates or times for Halloween trick-or-treating. Because of COVID-19 concerns, many people may not be participating in trick-or-treating this year.
“We want Township residents, young and old, to have fun if they are trick-or-treating, but remind all to please respect neighbors who do not.
“The standard practice is to keep your front porch light on if you are participating and to turn it off if you are not. In the spirit of understanding during this difficult time, we ask that everyone consider how their activities this Halloween may affect others.
“The Township wants everyone to enjoy, and stay safe and be well, this Halloween season. Please refer to recommendations on the CDC website at www.cdc.gov. Thank you & be safe.”
