COATESVILLE, PA — Hans Haupt, MD, has joined Tower Health Medical Group as the Chief, Section of Cardiothoracic Surgery at both Brandywine and Phoenixville Hospitals. Dr. Haupt is board-certified in cardiac and thoracic surgery and with over 30 years of experience provides comprehensive cardiac and thoracic care to his patients. Dr. Haupt is well versed in bloodless cardiac surgery and eliminates the need for blood transfusions in most of his surgical procedures.
Dr. Haupt completed fellowships in Thoracic Surgical Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY and Cardiothoracic Surgery at New York Hospital – Cornell Medical Center, New York, NY; and Cardiovascular Surgical Research at the Texas Heart Institute, Houston, TX. Dr. Haupt completed his General Surgery residency at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA and is a graduate of Jefferson Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University.
