Mind ShaperSLP Announces the Social Story Solution Workshop

Mind ShaperSLP

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Mind ShaperSLP, LLC announced that she will be hosting an in-person workshop geared towards the parents of Autistic children called “The Social Story Solution Workshop” at Ann’s HEART in Phoenixville, PA on November 9, 2022, 6:30-8:30 pm.

“The Social Story Solution Workshop will focus on a current challenge your child is facing and teach your autistic child a better way to cope, communicate and behave in challenging situations. They have been a game changer for many students in my therapy room” says Rebecca Robbins, owner of Mind ShaperSLP, LLC.

Centers for Disease Control found in 2018 that 1 in 44 children in the US is estimated to have an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This number is up from 1 in 54 in 2016, a 26% increase. There is a growing need for new programs like the one offered by Mind ShaperSLP, LLC. “Navigating an autism journey can be complicated and challenging. Unfortunately, nobody hands parents a guidebook when their child receives their diagnosis and the work a child needs to do is not over at the end of the school day. Parents need training, tools and assistance to keep their child thriving at home and in the community so that each autistic child has the best chance to grow up to be an independent adult.”

Her services include 1:1 speech therapy, executive functioning and life skills coaching for children, teens and adults, social groups for ages 8-25 called Buddy Group, parent consultation services, and online parent training programs.
