WEST GROVE, PA — On Thursday, October 10, Jennersville Hospital will provide a free breast health event hosted by Tracy Carmellini, MD, Medical Director of Imaging at Jennersville Hospital. Dr. Carmellini approaches her presentations on breast health as if she was talking to a sister or beloved girlfriend.

Passionate about keeping women healthy through all ages and stages, Dr. Carmellini’s teachings and preventative measures are truly known to be life-saving.

The event will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn – Kennett Square, 815 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square, PA, from 5:45 to 8 p.m. (5:30 p.m. check-in), and is free.

“There is contradictory information regarding screening mammography and early detection of breast cancer that leads to confusion among women,” said Dr. Carmellini. Patients need clear and accurate information regarding their breast cancer risk so they can discuss options with their providers when making shared decisions about screening.”
