WEST CHESTER, PA — The Chester County Health Department announced they are transitioning two of its COVID-19 vaccine clinics to provide a walk-in option, on Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2.
- The Exton Square Mall clinic (the former Sears store) will be administering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and the Pfizer vaccine.
Anyone age 16 and 17 are encouraged to book an appointment or walk-in to this clinic to receive the Pfizer vaccine.
- The Longwood Gardens overflow parking lot clinic (drive-thru) will be administering Johnson & Johnson and Moderna vaccines.
Officials state an appointment is not necessary, but if you prefer to schedule your appointment using this link.
Additionally, if you already have a vaccine appointment scheduled for a future date and would instead like to receive your vaccine this weekend, come to either clinic and the vaccine clinic team will assist you.
The Chester County Health Department also confirmed that as of April 29, 2021, 65% of all Chester County residents eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine have received at least the first dose of the vaccine.
If you have questions about the COVID-19 vaccine, Chester County’s COVID-19 call center hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, and Saturday, 9:00 AM – 12 noon.
The call center can answer COVID-19 questions and can register individuals who do not have access to the internet, or would prefer to speak to a live person.
