Phoenixville Hospital Cancer Center Receives Donation from Pottsgrove High School

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The Cancer Center at Phoenixville Hospital received a $2,500 donation from Pottsgrove High School. The funds were raised by Pottsgrove’s Booster Club, Football, Boys Soccer, Volleyball and Cheerleading teams for the Cancer Center’s Patient Assistance Fund.

Pottsgrove High School has been raising funds for patients of the Cancer Center for nine years, donating over $10,000 thus far. Pottsgrove School Board Member Patti Grimm, a former patient of the Cancer Center at Phoenixville Hospital, started the tradition of giving to the Patient Assistance Fund after experiencing first-hand the support it provides.
