COATESVILLE, PA — The Coatesville Veterans Affairs Medical Center has announced that shipments of the COVID-19 vaccine, expected to arrive this past Monday, have been delayed requiring them to reschedule a number of Veterans’ COVID-19 vaccination appointments.

Officials state that veterans with scheduled appointments to receive their first dose of the Moderna vaccine this week can expect their appointment to be rescheduled for another date.

However, they also said this shipping delay is not expected to impact Veterans with appointments to receive their second dose and they can expect to come on campus as scheduled.

The Coatesville Veterans Affairs Medical Center says if delays in the delivery are extended, Veterans with appointments will be notified by telephone.
