As of May 5, 2021, Chester County leads the region with 70 percent of eligible people partially or fully vaccinated.  Currently, 38% of all Chester County residents age 18 and over are fully vaccinated.

Chester County Health Department Director Jeanne Casner said, “Chester County’s lead in vaccination rates is great, but this final push is key.

“We encourage everyone eligible who hasn’t yet been vaccinated, to book an appointment or just walk in to a clinic, so that Chester County becomes one of the first counties, or even the very first county in Pennsylvania to meet – and exceed – the Governor’s benchmark of 70 percent fully vaccinated.  Let’s do our part now, to become mask-free.”
