Upper Uwchlan Township Makes Changes to Municipal Tax Collection Procedure

Upper Uwchlan Township to Hold Special Meeting to Discuss Energy Transfer/Sunoco Easement

CHESTER SPRINGS, PA — Upper Uwchlan Township recently announced, new for 2021, municipal real estate taxes will be collected by the Chester County Treasurer’s Office.

Officials state property owners will receive the bill for their Township taxes from the County Office. The change to collection via Chester County, rather than through a third-party tax collection company, was said to be made in an effort to minimize administrative costs.

Payment Methods
Payment of your 2021 Township real estate taxes can be remitted to the County by mail, through bank bill pay, at any Chester County branch of S&T Bank, in person at the County Treasurer’s Office, or online at chesco.org/treasurer. Find details about the payment methods on the back of your bill.

The Township notes that if you have previously established automatic payment through your bank or mortgage company, be sure to update the payee and payment address with that company.
