Alita Rovito Leads the Race For Judge on the Court of Common Pleas into the General

CHESTER COUNTY, PA — The Chester County primary results are in and Alita Rovito, candidate for Judge on the Court of Common Pleas, carried the day. The numbers tell the story. Rovito received 44% of the vote putting her far ahead of the pack in an extremely competitive five-way Democratic primary.

“Alita’s background in family court resonated with voters,” said Charlotte Valyo, Alita Rovito’s campaign chair. “Chester County families want someone on the bench who is fighting for them. Someone who wants to protect our community, keeping it safe for our children.”

Democratic voters clearly responded to Rovito as the endorsed candidate, and the only candidate with 15 years of proven judicial experience. Republicans also showed strong support for Rovito.  Judicial candidates can appear on both the Democratic and the Republican ballots. When adding her total votes from both ballots, Alita Rovito received an impressive 42,903 votes, which is 4,704 more votes than her closest challenger, putting her in a strong position for November.

“I loved every minute of primary day,” explains Rovito. “It was wonderful to be out in beautiful Chester County meeting voters. If elected in November, it will be my greatest honor to serve Chester County residents as a Judge on the Court on the Common Pleas.”
