LOWER POTTSGROVE TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced forthcoming construction activities on key roads in Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County. Motorists should prepare for travel disruptions as follows:

  • Monday, October 14, through Friday, October 18: Intermittent single lane closures will occur on westbound U.S. 422 between Evergreen Road and Armand Hammer Boulevard from 4:00 AM to 2:00 PM to facilitate roadway reconstruction.
  • In addition, Sanatoga Road will experience intermittent single lane closures with 15-minute traffic stoppages in both directions between East High Street and Linfield Road from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM for bridge demolition.
  • Similarly, Porter Road will undergo intermittent single lane closures with similar stoppages between East High Street and Sanatoga Station Road during the same timeframe for bridge demolition.
  • On the eastbound side of U.S. 422, between Keim Street and Evergreen Road, lane closures will be enforced from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for continued roadway reconstruction.
  • A full closure of Sanatoga Road is scheduled from 6:00 AM on Monday, October 21, until 5:00 PM on Tuesday, October 22, between East High Street and Linfield Road for bridge demolition. Detours will direct traffic via Linfield Road, Evergreen Road, and East High Street.
