SADSBURY TWP, PA — Wawa is set to open its newest location in Sadsbury Township, Pennsylvania, with a grand opening celebration on August 8. The event will take place at 600 Nova Way and is open to the public.
The festivities will begin at 7:45 a.m. with Wawa General Manager Christopher Gruber counting down to the moment when the doors open for the first time at 8:00 a.m. The first 100 customers will receive a free “In My Wawa Era 60th Anniversary” t-shirt, and all customers can enjoy free hot coffee of any size throughout the day.
At 8:30 a.m., the celebration will continue with a ceremonial toast, a Hoagies for Heroes hoagie-building competition featuring the Sadsbury Township Police Department and the Sadsburyville Fire Company, and an official ribbon-cutting ceremony with Wawa’s mascot, Wally Goose.
The event will feature remarks from key Wawa representatives, including Katie Stevens, Director of Store Operations, Tony Davis, Area Manager, and Christopher Gruber, General Manager. The community is invited to join in the celebration, which will highlight Wawa’s commitment to providing quality products, convenience, and support to the local area.
