Virtual Event to Sharpen Networking Skills: My Career Transitions Hosts Online Workshop

From 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, My Career Transitions (MCT), in collaboration with Penn State Alumni Career Services, will host a virtual event focused on building professional contact networks. The session will be conducted via Zoom, offering a convenient and accessible format for attendees.

The featured speaker, Steven B. Wagman, brings a wealth of experience from his extensive career in the healthcare sector. Wagman, who transitioned from a 33-year tenure at Siemens Medical Solutions to Siemens Smart Infrastructure, has led various national organizations and has been actively involved in mentoring and leadership development programs. His expertise spans healthcare information technology, revenue cycle management, strategic consulting, and more.

The event will cover essential networking strategies that are critical regardless of one’s industry or professional level. Attendees will learn how to:

The final 30 minutes, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm, will be dedicated to remote networking, allowing participants to join breakout rooms, share their job search objectives, and assist each other.
