WEST CHESTER, PA — On Tuesday, November 16, The GIANT Company donated 200 turkeys to the West Chester Food Cupboard and team members from the local GIANT/MARTIN’S spent the day volunteering at the food bank.
Moreover, during the beginning weeks of November, The GIANT Company donated 2,900 turkeys/chickens to food banks in the Greater Philadelphia area, including Family & Community Services, New Britain Baptist Food Larder, Sharing Excess, Mary’s Cupboard, Mattie Dixon Community Cupboard, Chester County Food Bank, Philabundance, and Fisherman’s Mark. Team members from The GIANT Company will also spend the day organizing and restocking shelves to help these non-profits prepare for the busy holiday season.
Additionally, to help bring the true meaning of the company’s brand platform, For Today’s Table® to life, The GIANT Company donated a total of 10,000 turkeys/chickens in advance of Thanksgiving to 27 partner food banks across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia, ensuring all families are able to celebrate the holiday season with a fulfilling meal.
