Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce Tees Up Women’s Golf League and Young Business Leaders Golf Clinic

KENNETT SQUARE, PA — It’s no secret that a lot of business gets done on the golf course. The Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce is offering two opportunities this summer for members and non-members to get in the game: Women’s Summer Golf League and Young Business Leaders 6-week Golf Clinic.

“Golf is a great game for business and pleasure,” said President and CEO Cheryl Kuhn. “For 24 years, the Southern Chester County Chamber has hosted an Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament that benefits the SCCCC High School Scholarship Fund. Now, with the addition of the Women’s League and Young Business Leaders Golf Clinic, we are proud to offer more opportunities for our members and non-members to learn the skills they will need to perform and network on the golf course.”

Beginning June 6, Young Business Leaders (ages 21-40) can attend a six-week golf clinic designed for beginners and those looking to improve their game at Wyncote Golf Club hosted by golf pro Tim Brown. The fee for the six, one-hour clinics is$120. The $99 one-time Season membership fee includes an Opening Day Reception, and End of Season 9-hole Tournament in September (date to be determined). Each week of play is an additional $30 for clinic, and 9 holes with cart. The Womens’ League is open to all skill levels, with beginners having a basic understanding of the game.
