Miller’s Insurance Agency Inaugural Scholarship Program Awards Recipients

DOWNINGTOWN, PAMiller’s Insurance Agency, a local independent insurance agency, has awarded $20,000 in scholarships to four, local graduating seniors in the Chester County area to help them fulfill their educational and career goals.

“Miller’s Insurance Agency has been servicing Chester County and providing insurance solutions for over 40 years,” said Joe Baccile, Miller’s Insurance Agency VP, Sales and Client Experience. “For those 40 years, our neighbors, community members, friends and family have given so much to our Agency. Giving back has been a passion of ours since the beginning and continues today through the Miller’s Insurance Agency Scholarship Program. We’re excited to announce the inaugural recipients of the Miller’s Insurance Agency Scholarship and are so very pleased to be able to provide this opportunity to these four very deserving young people, ensuring some part of the next phase of their educational journey.”

The four awardees include Ryan Hughes, Andrea Lewis, Elizabeth Meyer, and Willnie-Rose Papillion.

  • Ryan Hughes, a student at B. Reed Henderson High School, is planning to attend the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor to major in dual vocal performance and psychology.
  • Andrea Lewis, a student at Coatesville Area Senior High School, is planning to attend the Georgia Institute of Technology to major in civil engineering.
  • Elizabeth Meyer, a student at Octorara Area High School, is planning to attend School Elizabethtown College to major in occupational therapy
  • Willnie-Rose Papillion, a student at West Chester East High School, is planning to attend Thomas Jefferson University to major in industrial design.

Milller's Scholarship

On Saturday, June 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Miller’s Insurance Agency, located at 255 W. Uwchlan Ave, Downingtown PA, is hosting a Touch a Truck event with activities for kids and a car seat check.
