DEVON, PA — Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, REALTORS® Wayne-Devon Sales Office recently hosted a successful Earth Day Electronics Recycling Event in coordination with Junkluggers of Chester, Berks, & Lancaster PA. The free event, held on April 22, 2023, welcomed members of the community to responsibly dispose of their unwanted electronic items. The response was overwhelming, with generous donations pouring in throughout the day.

Participants had the opportunity to dispose of electronic items such as printers, computers, and laptops. Beyond this, the donations included miscellaneous wire and metal items, creating a varied and substantive pool of materials.

The Fox & Roach Wayne Devon sales office was the perfect venue for the event, with spacious accommodations and extended hours to ease the worry of those with busy schedules. The event proved to be such a hit that not one, not two, but five Junkluggers trucks were needed to transport the community’s diverse donations.

Thanks to the community’s generosity, the event ended up being a huge success in terms of attendance and the volume of recycled electronics. The collaboration between the Junkluggers and the Fox & Roach Wayne Devon office made it possible to dispose of the electronic items in a safe and eco-friendly way.

“The event was a huge success. There’s no better way to celebrate Earth Day than by coming together with our clients, friends and members of the local community make a positive impact on the planet,” comments Carl Becht, sales leader of the Wayne-Devon office. “This is just one of the many ways our company and sales associates support and contribute to the local community,” he continues.
