Chester County Sports Arena Starts Multi-Phased Transformation Into Modern, State-Of-Art Recreational Campus

Company rebrands as The Campus – Chester County to reflect the full scope of its future offerings.

DOWNINGTOWN, PA — Chester County Sports Arena (CCSA) has embarked on a multi-phased construction project that will transform it into a modern, state-of-the-art recreational campus. To reflect this transformation, CCSA has been renamed The Campus – Chester County.

“When we opened CCSA in 2015, we built a growing roller skating, hockey and summer camp business,” explains Jamie DiDomenico, a CCSA founder. “We subsequently added a high ropes course and pool. Thanks to the local community’s strong support, we have continued to grow rapidly despite the challenges presented by the pandemic. The timing is perfect to take CCSA – now The Campus – to the next level.”

The Campus’s Phase 1 opening in June 2022 will include conversion of the facility’s existing roller-skating rink into an ice rink, new site work, installation of the outdoor turf field and improvements to summer camp amenities. When fully complete, the facility will also feature a next-level trampoline park, cafes, new locker rooms and birthday and corporate event spaces.

“Combining dynamic and age-appropriate activities with our experienced staff, we’ll offer the most comprehensive sports, summer camp and childcare programs in Chester County – including competitive travel ice hockey, roller and field hockey, figure skating, soccer, lacrosse, flag football, adult leagues, rock climbing, birthday parties and more,” DiDomenico details. “These improvements will provide families with an even better experience than they’ve enjoyed at CCSA in the past.”

The Campus is holding a summer camp open house on Wednesday, January 26 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm. For more information, visit www.thecampuscc.com/openhouse.
