WEST CHESTER, PA — State Rep. Dianne Herrin, D-Chester, announced the latest event in her “Hikes with Herrin” series. The series gives residents the opportunity to discuss with the representative some of the pressing issues facing our commonwealth while enjoying the best public open spaces our community has to offer.
The upcoming event, on Saturday, Nov. 6, will focus on current animal protection laws and new legislation to protect the health, safety and welfare of pets in our commonwealth.
“Our four-legged friends deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, and I look forward to speaking with our neighbors about legislation that improves protections for our animals,” Herrin said.
Pets are welcome to this event. The hike is scheduled to launch at 11 a.m. at East Goshen Township Park, 1661 Paoli Pike, West Chester, PA 19380.
Those interested in attending should RSVP by contacting Herrin’s office by email at [email protected] or by calling 610-696-4990.
