Christmas is Coming to Malvern for Two Extraordinary Family Friendly Events

MALVERN, PA — Christmas is in the air a little earlier this holiday season. The town of Malvern, Pennsylvania, is getting into the holiday spirit with their annual Christmas on King event. Families and friends are welcome to spend two fun-filled days partaking in Christmas activities, including shopping, eating and holiday merriment. The events will take place on November 26th from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm in Burke Park and on December 4th from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm all along King Street.

Join the town of Malvern on November 26 from 5:30-7 pm, for a family friendly tree lighting in Burke Park hosted by Mrs. Pennsylvania 2021, Ashley Meyers. Carolers, from The University of Delaware’s CresHENdo, and West Chester University’s High Street Harmonix, will be in attendance to spread some cheer. Santa will make an appearance for photo opportunities in the park’s gazebo. Enjoy delicious hot cocoa made by Malvern’s own Valentine Chocolate Co.

The Holiday fun continues on December 4th from 12-4 pm, King Street will have various activities for children, including Face Painting at Gallery 222 and Anthony’s Italian Restaurant, a Balloon Artist at Knots and Weaves and Whitford at Malvern Flowers, and Elsa and Olaf characters will be walking throughout town for photo opportunities. A holiday celebration wouldn’t be complete without Santa! Santa will be making an appearance riding through town on a Malvern Fire Company fire truck.

The following food trucks will be scattered across King Street: Philly Waffle Co., Amos & Annies, The Walking Taco Co., Munchy Machine, and Mom’s Club of Malvern. Entertainment consists of a holiday music and dance performance by Twirl Dance Company at Gallagher’s Auto Service at 2:00 pm. For the adults, enjoy the Philadelphia Yard Bar popping up with Locust Lane Brewery. Music will fill the town by various performers from the Malvern School of Music. Stores, businesses and restaurants all along King Street will be open for holiday shopping, dining and festivities.
