Uptown! Knauer Unwraps The 2021 Holiday Season With The “2021 Holiday Cheer Concert” Featuring Its WCStudio Performers

WEST CHESTER, PA — It’s beginning to sound a lot like the holidays as the Uptown! KnauerPerforming Arts Center (226 N. High St., West Chester, PA) reveals details for its seasonal celebration of music and the arts, starting with the highly-anticipated “2021 Holiday Cheer Concert.”

Featuring the WCStudio Performers at Uptown!, which include children from Uptown!’s Professional Youth Program, Uptown Singers, The Singing Artists, The Singing Academy and Broadway Kiddos, this weekend event will kick off Friday, December 3 at 5 PM and return Saturday, December 4 at 1 PM for a special matinee show. During the concerts, the students will perform a variety of traditional holiday favorites, as well as lively new songs made famous by R&B and pop soloists, which are perfect for audiences of all ages.

“We look forward to ‘The Holiday Cheer Concert’ every year,” said April Evans, executive director for Uptown! “It is just one example of the amazing work that the WCStudio does with our students and the example it leads for our community. We love celebrating this program, and the hard work that the teachers and students put in, in such a fun and festive way.”

WCStudio for the Performing Arts is the children’s education branch of Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Its mission is to provide children’s theater educational programs with a unique focus on the individual as part of the group, helping students move through their emotional and developmental journeys while building strong acting skills and confidence.
