PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia’s premier jazz venue, Chris’ Jazz Café, is gearing up for an exceptional line-up this March, featuring performances by Grammy-nominated pianist Joey Alexander and the celebrated organ trio Goldings, Bernstein & Stewart.

Joey Alexander, a prodigious talent who received three Grammy nominations before he turned 20, will grace the stage on March 8 and 9. Born in Indonesia, Alexander has been hailed as one of the most accomplished pianists and creative improvisers in the jazz world. His seventh album, “Continuance,” showcases his evolution as a composer of evocative chamber jazz and his prowess as a bandleader guiding an ensemble with its unique perspective. The shows will start at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m., with general admission tickets priced at $45 per person.

The following week, from March 15 to 16, Chris’ Jazz Café will host “A Weekend with Goldings, Bernstein & Stewart.” This extraordinary organ trio, featuring Larry Goldings, Peter Bernstein, and Bill Stewart, has been lauded by The New York Times as “the best organ trio of the last decade.” Their collective musical journey spans over 20 years, during which they have recorded nine albums and two DVDs together. Their latest album, “Ramshackle Serenade,” was praised by Downbeat for its inventive take on organ-trio music. The set times for these performances are also at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m., with tickets available for $30 per person.

In addition to individual show tickets, Chris’ Jazz Café is offering Dinner & Show packages that include a three-course chef tasting menu. VIP tickets are also available for all shows. Streaming options can be found on their YouTube channel: @ChrisJazzCafePhilly.
