MEDIA, PA — Delaware County Community College (DCCC) is set to kick off its 2024-2025 Live Music Series with an enthralling performance by the Fareed Simpson Quintet, marking a significant highlight of Delco Arts Week. The concert will take place on Thursday, September 26, at 7 p.m. in the Large Auditorium of the Academic Building on the College’s Marple Campus, located at 910 South Media Line Road, Media, PA 19063.
Led by Philadelphia-born trumpet virtuoso and bandleader Fareed Simpson-Hankins, the quintet is celebrated for its vibrant repertoire, drawing inspiration from jazz legends such as Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, and Louis Armstrong.
