PHILADELPHIA, PA — Prepare for an unforgettable night when the sensational Grammy-nominated duo — singer-songwriter and guitarist Jonathan Butler and jazz saxophonist Gerald Albright — perform in a double bill at Rivers Casino Philadelphia on Friday, July 14, at 8 p.m.

Following their incredible sold-out performance in The Event Center last year, these two musical icons are back to captivate guests with their eclectic blend of contemporary rhythm and blues, jazz, and gospel music. Tickets are on sale now starting at $49.

Butler and Albright have recently come together to tour the nation, bringing their soulful sounds to audiences everywhere. Butler is known for his playfulness and quiet resilience, which are easily visible in his passionate performances, and Albright’s musical muse has taken him to many fascinating locales along the contemporary R&B and urban jazz spectrum.

Butler was the first non-white artist to have his work played on South African radio and to appear on national television. His continued commitment to his craft came to fruition with his self-titled debut album, which received a Grammy nomination for the pop hit “Lies.” His song “Going Home” earned him another Grammy nomination, and the mid-tempo ballad “Sarah, Sarah” confirmed Butler’s place in popular music.

Albright is currently putting the finishing touches on the forthcoming CD project “30.”  This pivotal number represents 30 years since the release of his debut CD, “Just Between Us.” Over the years, he’s worked alongside many music icons, including Anita Baker, The Temptations, Maurice White, Les McCann, Teena Marie, Phil Collins, The Winans and Whitney Houston.
