Bon Jovi Tribute Band Brings Classics to Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Bon Jovi fans can enjoy classic hits like “It’s My Life” and “Livin’ on a Prayer” when Bon Jersey, a tribute to Bon Jovi, comes to Rivers Casino Philadelphia for a free show on Friday, April 21, at 8 p.m.

Rush Rewards Members can present their Rush Rewards card and photo ID at Rush Rewards to claim their one free ticket on the following dates*:

  • Thursday, April 20, from 8 p.m. to midnight
  • Friday, April 21, from noon to 8 p.m.

*While supplies last. Must be a Rush Rewards Member with a valid ID.

Hailing from all corners of New England and the winner of Limelight Magazine’s 2010 Tribute Band of The Year, Bon Jersey has been playing to packed audiences for over 30 years. The band’s frontman, Joe Ventura, gets mistaken for Jon Bon Jovi on a regular basis and has all the stage moves and signature sounds down to a tee.

“Bon Jersey’s show offers an authentic experience for Bon Jovi fans,” said Andy Falkof, vice president of marketing at Rivers Casino Philadelphia. “We’re excited to host this iconic tribute in our Event Center. This is one you won’t want to miss!”

Performing songs from the very first Bon Jovi album to the latest from the Jersey Boys, Bon Jersey provides the closest experience to seeing Jon, Richie, Tico, David and Hugh on stage. The sentiment of Bon Jovi’s music hits home no matter the age group, as it was one of history’s most successful music acts, with over 130 million RIAA-certified sales and countless awards. It’s no wonder there are countless acts paying tribute to this legendary group. However, there is only one act that truly captures the essence of Bon Jovi’s music: Bon Jersey.
