Filling the world with light, energy, and love, SALT Performing Arts launches its 2022 Mainstage season with Frozen Jr. February 18 - March 13, 2022.

CHESTER SPRINGS, PA — Disney’s worldwide phenomenon is taking the SALT stage by (snow) storm! Frozen Jr. brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film and then some! It is a story of true love and acceptance between sisters. When Princesses Anna and Elsa are faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen Jr. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!

Frozen Jr. will be performed by two spectacular casts. The first 3 weekends are performed by a SALT youth cast and the 4th & final weekend is performed by the Acting Antics All-Abilities cast.

“Full of life lessons such as being bold, the power of being selfless, avoiding quick judgment, feeling all the feels, and many more, Frozen Jr. is a fabulous production for all of us trying to “let go” of the trials and tribulations of the pandemic,” comments Lauren McComas, President and Artistic Director of SALT Performing Arts. “We are excited to be partnering, for the fourth year, with Acting Antics. Our last production with this all-abilities acting organization was The Lion King which was, coincidently, our last production before the Covid lockdown.”

Melissa Ferkler, Director of Acting Antics, agrees, “We are absolutely thrilled to be partnering with SALT again. Our groundbreaking Buddy Program has created some beautiful bonds between our two casts. Anna and Elsa and all of their friends are warmly welcomed into the caring family we’ve created by coming together like this! And the success of the live, Virtual Fundraiser we held last year also has us very excited that SALT is offering Live-Stream Tickets to all of these performances so we can all reconnect ‘for the first time in forever!'”
