WEST CHESTER PA — The Chester County Historical Society announced that the History Center museum, library, and photo archives are now open by appointment, Thursday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
On December 14, 2020, the Chester County History Center became closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Pennsylvania’s public health guidelines, set by Governor Tom Wolf and former Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine.
The Chester County Historical Society’s current Covid-19 policies include:
- All visitors above the age of 2 years are required to wear masks that cover the mouth and nose at all times. All staff will also be wearing masks at all times.
- Every visitor will have their temperature taken upon arrival at the front desk.
- Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the museum and touch surfaces will be sanitized throughout the day.
- If you are experiencing any symptoms, you are being asked to contact the CCHS at [email protected] to reschedule the visit.
