CHESTER SPRINGS, PA — Historic Yellow Springs invites you to usher in the holiday season with a delightful stroll through the village and a visit to the annual Fine Arts & Crafts Show. Swap the bustling mall for a serene setting showcasing the exceptional talent of over 30 artists and faculty, along with 46 vendors.
Kicking off with an opening reception on Friday, November 10th from 5 – 8 pm, guests can be among the first to explore and shop a vast array of artworks. The display will feature paintings in various mediums, ceramics, glasswork, woodcraft, paper art, fiber arts, exquisite jewelry, and more. The reception is open to all for $10 per ticket, with free admission for HYS members.
The show continues throughout the weekend, operating from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, November 11th, and from 10 am to 4 pm on Sunday, November 12th. Admission is $5 at the door, and free for HYS members.
The exhibition spans three buildings, covering two floors in both the Lincoln and Washington buildings, as well as the faculty artist studios in the Chester Springs Studio. From Andrea’s Whimsies and Richard Allen Woodworking on the first floor of the Washington Building to Herb Eilertsen and Designs by Sharon L on the second floor of the Lincoln Building, there’s something to captivate everyone’s interest.
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to visit the Chester Springs Studio, where you’ll find Botanical Clay Designs, Elizabeth Knauss Illustrations, and Matthew Wren Ceramics.
