CHESTER SPRINGS, PA — Rising Teen Singers take note! This Saturday, October 29, audition for SALT’s Got Talent Teen for a chance to win $500. SALT Performing Arts strives to foster the abilities and confidences of our local youth.
Through this competition, teens ages 13-18 have the opportunity to perform songs from different genres and receive positive, constructive feedback from judges who are professionals in the performing arts. The grand prize is $500 and the first runner-up prize is $250. This event will take place over 2 nights November 16 & 17 with 16 contestants. Auditions will be held on September 29. Tickets will be available in early October.
Teens must prepare 32 measures of 2 songs, one uptempo and one ballad, both from Broadway. They must bring their sheet music with cuts clearly made and in a binder with plastic sheet protectors to hand to our accompanist.
