WEST CHESTER, PA — Kristin Bulgarelli has been appointed as the new principal of Exton Elementary School in the West Chester Area School District (WCASD). With her experience and passion for education, she is set to bring exciting new ideas and energy to the role.
With an extensive background in educational leadership and a commitment to fostering growth and community, Bulgarelli is well-equipped to lead the Exton Eagles in their journey to achieve their personal best. She joins the Exton Elementary School community with a clear vision for academic excellence, student well-being, and community engagement.

We are confident that she will continue to build upon the school’s strong foundation while also bring with her exciting new ideas and energy.”
Bulgarelli’s educational journey spans over 25 years, during which she has served in various leadership capacities. Most recently, she held the position of Assistant Principal at a neighboring elementary school, where she successfully implemented professional learning focused on literacy development. Her proven track record of fostering positive relationships among students, staff, and parents is a testament to her ability to create a supportive and collaborative school community.
“I immediately fell in love with the community,” said Bulgarelli. “I am thrilled to join the talented EXE staff and I look forward to getting to know our students and their families.”
Bulgarelli holds a Master’s in Science with a Reading Specialist certificate. She is committed to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in education.
