2018 Octorara Angels Rainbow Run and Carbon Monoxide Awareness Event

2018 Octorara Angels Rainbow Run and Carbon Monoxide Awareness Event

ATGLEN, PA — Saturday, June 2 is the date for the annual Octorara Angels Rainbow Run, a Brave Memorial 5k Color Run/Fun Walk at Octorara Intermediate School in Atglen. The run is multi-purpose – not only to help raise awareness of Carbon Monoxide Poisoning, the silent killer that took the lives of Carly Imbierowicz and Daulton Pointek on November 22, 2014, but to also help fund projects at the school. This year’s funds will go towards an upgraded sound system at the stadium as well as help all school sports boosters and education scholarships. This year’s theme is Breathe Easy!

This event is a non-competitive COLOR RUN!  The course is 3.1 miles long and you are free to run or walk it while being showered with a rainbow of colored corn starch which will leave you looking like a human tie-dye.  The course is completely on the Octorara School District campus and very family-friendly.
