IMMACULATA, PA — Immaculata University’s Division of Nursing will begin offering its Master of Science in Nursing major fully online starting fall 2020. Two tracks are available in the program: nursing education and nursing administration. Immaculata will continue to offer hybrid delivery as well. The M.S.N. program is accredited by the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education.
“We are pleased to offer our M.S.N. program online this fall so that it is accessible for anyone planning to further their nursing career,” states Pamela Hudson, DM, RN, assistant professor and M.S.N. program director.
With its foundation in theory, health care policy, and research, the M.S.N. program expands students’ knowledge and develops leadership abilities that guide nursing practice. According to the Journal of Nursing Regulation (2018), only 17.5% of nurses hold a master’s degree.
Immaculata offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate nursing programs including a B.S.N., a pre-licensure program, RN-to-BSN, Accelerated second degree B.S.N. and M.S.N., that offers the knowledge and skills needed to provide holistic, competent, and patient-centered care.
