“This year we have a lot of terrific vintage books priced to sell along with many large sized paperback books in great condition for only $1.50,” says Lenore Clarke, Book Nook Coordinator for the Friends. “In past years we’ve seen a lot of teachers buying books with their own money to augment their classroom collection. So, for this sale, we’ve added s a Teachers Day. On Saturday April 6, teachers with a school ID can fill a grocery bag provided by us for $8. The bags fit quite a lot of books so we hope to help them out by getting more books into the classroom without having to spend a lot of money.”
